WE DID IT ! 🙌 🇳🇴🚴‍♂️🇸🇪
🇸🇪 From the Swedish coast to the Norwegian Ocean by road bike through the mountains 🇳🇴
We followed the legendary St. Olav’s Way, the northernmost pilgrimage trail in the world, all the way to Trondheim ✝️

We pushed through EVERYTHING :
☀️ Scorching heat waves in Sweden 🔥🫠
🌧️ Endless rain after the Norwegian border 🌊
⛰️ Brutal 5000 D+ climbs and never-ending hills 🥵
🛞 Broken roads and constant punctures ❌
🌬️ Headwinds for days 🌪️
🚛 Riding on highways with 30-ton timber trucks flying past us, no safer alternative in sight 😵

But we MADE IT ! 🙌 An unforgettable journey with my brother …… and Jimmy the Pig 🤝🐖
Now time to rest… now let’s go celebrate on the Norwegian coast as proud pilgrims warriors 🍃

🚴‍♂️ BYE SWEDEN 🇸🇪✅ HELLO NORWAY !🇳🇴
☀️Five days after my departure, after suffering through the heatwave in the Swedish countryside, I’ve just crossed the Norwegian border and now begin the climb into the mountains and fjords, halfway through my crazy journey to reach the Atlantic Ocean by bike 🌊

There’s a local race here : Borgsjö Runt Bymilen 🏃‍♂️🇸🇪
A historic one — the kind everyone in the region knows, and loves to run.
My lovely neighbors told me I had to do it 😅
That it would be a good way to meet people, to show my face, to feel part of the community.
So, on a whim — without a single training run, lot of pain and without having really jogged once since my foot surgery — I signed up.
It was my first run since November.
My first race in over 6 months.
And somehow… I WON IT 🤷🏻‍♂️
First man across the line 🏅
Sure, it wasn’t UTMB or the biggest race of the year. But for me, it meant everything.
A victory against the pain. Against the silence. Against the doubts that creep in when you’re stuck, healing, sidelined.
Six months without sport. Ten extra kilos, 2 kg to 100 kg 🐋
Six months wondering if I’d ever feel like myself again.
That Swedish local race? 🏃‍♂️🇸🇪
It reminded me that I’m not done yet ! 🧠
That I still have fire. Still have dreams.
And that the best is still ahead 🍃

🇫🇷 A silhouette between two worlds 🌍

Twenty years ago, I left France 🍃
Not because I rejected it, but because I needed to see the world. To breathe other air, hear other languages, get lost and find myself across Africa, America, Middle East… and far beyond 🌏

And yet, every time I return, it grips my heart ♥️
Because France is my roots. It’s history, culture, gastronomy, language, the raw beauty of its landscapes, its debates, its contradictions. It’s an immense heritage I’m deeply proud of 🇫🇷

But I no longer recognize myself in it.
I don’t find the breath I need. The mindset, the way of being — often too closed, too inward-looking — pushes me to keep moving. It’s not a rejection. It’s a complicated relationship.
A love story… and an escape 🍃

I am French. But I am also from everywhere I’ve lived, learned, grown, and loved.
And, walking on Parisian rooftops, I carry all of it with me.
VIVE LA FRANCE 💙🤍♥️

3. A word that used to mean something before it got trademarked and dropped from a drone. Currently redefined as: “freedom to interfere anywhere, anytime, under the flag of liberty.”

LICHEN 🍃
🇬🇧 Around my islands stretches a silent sea,
like an ancient breath resting upon the stone.
For years, I gathered this plant to light my fires,
a faithful companion through distant bivouacs 🔥

Today, it welcomes me here, at home,
like a carpet offered by time.
I lie down, cradled by its softness,
my gaze lost in the sky where free birds dance.

The wind whispers timeless secrets,
and silence becomes presence.
Here, I no longer light fires. I light my gaze and learn simply to be.

There is nothing to do, nothing to say.
Just to be. Here 🍃

🇫🇷 Autour de mes îles s’étend une mer silencieuse,
comme un souffle ancien posé sur la pierre.
Pendant des années, j’ai cueilli cette plante pour allumer mes feux, compagnon fidèle de mes bivouacs lointains 🔥

Aujourd’hui, c’est elle qui m’accueille, ici, chez moi,
comme un tapis offert par le temps.
Je m’y allonge, bercé par sa douceur,
le regard perdu dans le ciel où dansent les oiseaux libres.

Le vent murmure des secrets sans âge,
et le silence devient présence.
Ici, je n’allume plus de feu. J’allume mon regard et j’apprends à simplement être.

Il n’y a rien à faire, rien à dire.
Juste être. Ici 🍃
