So….its been three weeks since we went from Bus life to living in a rental home until our new home is built and move in ready (October…November). I never knew how much I missed living in a house! It’s the little things I guess like…regular 2 ply TP! A full size washer and dryer (although I had RV ones in Mr. Big) now a weeks worth of laundry takes a few hours instead of two days! A garbage disposal! Full size dish washer instead of the small one in the bus. A garage and my own car again! Room to move and a small private backyard for the poodles! No more walking in dirty dog parks in the rain! Having the same neighbors everyday! Although we met so many amazing people and made such good friends on the road I found out that I missed the normality of a neighborhood that isn’t as transient as an RV park and our resort here in Vegas where we spent our winters. I Love having a private backyard again where if I want to walk out in my un**es I can 😉😉! All in all the transition has been perfect! Everyone is happy and settled and it feels really…really good! We sold Mr.Big….found a place to move…moved….bought Lou a car all in a 10 day period! Let’s just say that and I don’t waste anytime getting things done! We knew when we got back to our winter home in October we were done and we just rolled with it! We had never put an expiration date on fulltime living in Mr. Big but we just knew it was time for the next chapter which we both are over the moon excited about! So on to the next chapter in our book of life! We will still travel and explore just differently so stay tuned as I share the build and of our home and are new adventures…

So we did a thing yesterday….
We purchased a new home in Las Vegas (my home town) and will be giving up fulltime Bus life! It’s been 5 years of full time living and time for our next chapter in life. After traveling the country and exploring so many beautiful places we decided to land back here. We will still travel to get out of the Vegas heat but it will just be done differently. We never set an expiration date on this life style but we would know when the time was right and it just feels right. So still follow along its going to be exciting!!

What to do on a nasty rainy day….🤔 well cleaned out the fridge…starting preparing dishes etc. for our Sunday travel day and finally try something new for hubby’s dinner! Salmon brushed with Dill infused olive oil…placed in a parchment paper pouch with vine ripe tomatoes and some extra Dill sprinkled on top. Baked @ 350 for approximately 25 minutes (depending how you like your salmon cooked) and voilà! Dinner is served! said it was delish!
