A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of having Adam onboard Walu with us (also known as Cavy). What an epic couple of weeks! 🤙🏽

We put his new Cavy Brand and Salty Passion gear to the test, shared plenty of laughs, chased some incredible fish, and made memories that won't be forgotten.

It's always awesome when land-based fishing fanatics get together on a mission. 😄🎣

Adam has just dropped the first video from our time fishing together( link is in comments), so go check it out and give him a follow. There are plenty more epic moments to come in the next episode and on our channel too!

Dropped anchor in an unusual hideaway to wait out the wind and meet up with friends. No plans to fish… just chill.

Of course that didn’t last long 😄 Sol hooked up, then in true little-bro fashion handed the rod over so big brother could bring it home — Silas’s first golden trevally. 🐟🔥

These fish are pretty rare for us to come across, and such an incredible species. Always special to see one, and even better to watch it swim away strong so it can keep doing its thing. 🙌

Pretty cool moment between brothers. Yewww 🤙🏽

Mr. Ben(a long time friend of ours)reached out to Nelson with a mission — his daughter had a birthday party coming up and needed fish for the feast. 🎯🐟

Challenge accepted. Nelson got to work and landed this beautiful red bass. 🙌

One happy hunter, one happy father, and I’d say a pretty happy group of party guests too. 😄

Yep, red bass are known in some parts of the world for carrying ciguatera, but here in this little pocket the locals absolutely love them and know these waters well.

Love seeing Nelson use his skills to help others. Yewww 🤙🏽

🚨 NEW EPISODE LIVE ON OUR YOUTUBE TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY 🚨
This one has been a long time coming...
After buying Walu in New Caledonia, it was finally time to bring her home to Fiji. What followed was a 730-mile, 7-day passage full of challenges, setbacks, laughs, and more boat problems than I care to remember.

Sail drive issues, stripped controls, broken reefing lines, fuel leaks, blocked tanks, days of no wind, and arriving in Fiji with just 20 litres of diesel left in the tanks. To make things more interesting, two of the crew had never sailed offshore before.

There were also some incredible moments along the way... swimming over 3,000m deep ocean, catching fish, watching the crew grow in confidence, and finally arriving in Fiji to the sound of the famous Fijian welcome song.

Fair warning... this episode is over an hour long 🍿😅
Grab a drink, put your feet up, and come along for the ride.
⛵ 730 Miles 🌊 7 Days at Sea 🔧 20 Problems 🇫🇯 One unforgettable arrival

We're nominating our husband, dad, and captain, Clay, for .

The funny thing is, searching through the files we haven't found too many epic photos of him. He's usually behind the camera, documenting the stoke of everyone else.

Many years ago, put his own dreams on the sidelines to raise four boys to become watermen. He believed that if he wanted to teach them a life connected to the ocean, he had to immerse them in it. So he moved our family across the world to the South Pacific.

Not because it was easy.

Not because it was comfortable.

Because out here, being salty isn't a hobby. It's a way of life.

He creatively found ways to work, took risks, left certainty behind, and built a life where our boys learn respect for the ocean, fishing, surfing, sailing, hard work, resilience, and adventure every single day.

If you really want to know whether a dad is rad, don't look at the dad. Look at his kids. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Today, those four boys are growing into the kind of young watermen that make us incredibly proud. Not because of trophies or followers, but because of the values their dad lives every day.

Clay grew up looking up to the Hobgood brothers(salty crew founders), fellow Brevard County legends. He never imagined one day he'd be raising his own crew of salty kids on the other side of the world.

Take a scroll through our page or check out our YouTube channel and tell us what you think.

Is Clay a Rad Dad or what?

Happy Birthday to the Queen of Walu ❤️

No fancy gifts. No restaurants. No crowds.

Just exactly what she wanted...

Fresh fish, a quiet beach, a bucket for shell hunting, and an afternoon exploring with the boys.

Calvin and I managed to put dinner on the table, while Mum and Silas disappeared down the beach on one of those long walks that seem to make time slow down.

After all these years of adventures, one thing hasn't changed — it's the simple things that make her happiest.

Happy Birthday babe. Thanks for being the heart of this crew and saying yes to this crazy life with us.

❤️⛵️🌴🎣
