I want to clear up a common misconception I hear far too often.
When I say I have exclusive group rates, they are exactly that — exclusive. They are not shared with other agents. Even agents within the same host agency do not have access to my group space. If someone tells you otherwise, that simply isn’t true.
These rates don’t appear by accident. I’m pulling inventory in the middle of the night when deployment opens, studying ships, sail dates, and demand patterns long before they’re obvious. In many cases, I’ve paid out of pocket to hold space years in advance — some of my current group rates are already secured for 2028. Yes, this is only 2025.
From the outside, it may look like “my agent just found me a lower price.” What you don’t see is the years of planning, financial risk, and time invested behind those rates — all done so my clients can benefit later.
And despite tying up my own money and countless hours of work, I still don’t charge my clients a single PENNY in planning fees.
This is the part of the job most people never see — but it’s also the part that makes a real difference when you’re ready to book.
