The 18th Annual Kansas Half Marathon & 5K will take place on Nov. 1 2026, in Lawrence, Kansas. Our course features some of Lawrence’s iconic landmarks and showcases the natural beauty of Kansas. Both courses are USATF certified. The Kansas Half Marathon helps offset costs and increase access to affordable health care services at Heartland Community Health Center for those that are uninsured/unders

erved. Heartland Community Health Center is a local safety net health care provider committed to expanding health care access for all and providing that access in an integrated, accessible, patient-centered model with a focus on improving the quality of life for patients in Douglas County and neighboring communities. Hi! It's me Ash. I am the Director of Marketing & Community Engagement for all that is Heartland (including Panda Pediatrics and Kansas Half Marathon). I've touched every post, event, brochure, commercial, website, or ad you've seen in the past 5 years. And I want to thank you for all your support - your likes, comments, phone calls, and shares really do help do something important.

There are still people in our community with barriers accessing the sometimes life-saving healthcare they need. There are still people who haven't heard about Heartland and who don't know that we never turn a patient away based on their ability to pay. Every interaction you give spreads our reach further.
