You may hear someone say, “You don’t need a travel advisor for Disney.” And I want you to notice who is usually saying that. A lot of the time, it is someone who has been to Disney many times, knows the resorts, understands the systems, already has preferences, and enjoys doing the research. That is wonderful for them. But that is not the same as being a first-time family trying to understand Disney from scratch. First trips often need more guidance, not less. You do not yet know what you do not know. When a client tells me they want the best price,

I always ask one more question . . .
Do you mean the lowest price to get on the ship, or the best price for the stateroom that actually fits your family?

Because those are two very different things.

The entry-level price may be an inside stateroom on a lower deck.
And sometimes that is a great choice.

But sometimes the better value is midship, connecting rooms, a balcony, or a different setup altogether.

Cheapest is not always best.
The goal is the best fit.

Booking the trip is only one part of the vacation.

I think about what happens before you go, while you are there, and after you come home.

Before the trip, I want your family to feel prepared and excited, whether that is through planning resources, Mickey mail, movie nights, countdowns, or tips that help the kids connect with what they are about to experience.

During the trip, I want you to know where to find answers, who to ask in the moment, and how to reach me within the support level you selected if something comes up.

After the trip, I do not want my last communication to be a plain “welcome home.” I want to help you think about downloading your photos, keeping the memories going, and maybe even dreaming about what kind of family trip might come next.

A Disney vacation is not just the days in the park. It is the anticipation, the experience, and the stories your family carries home.

Some families really do enjoy planning their own Disney trip.

They like the research, the spreadsheets, the ideas, the countdown, and the feeling of putting it all together themselves. I love that for them.

That is why I also offer DIY resources, destination guides, and tools through my shop.
These are for families who are booking and planning on their own, but still want trusted support along the way.
Think planning sheets, mini guides, movie night ideas, dinner-and-a-movie inspiration, crafts, rainy-day ideas, and ways to build excitement with the kids before the trip. Not every family needs a full planning package, and that is okay.

But even DIY families deserve resources that are current, organized, and created with real family travel in mind.
