Pete Koenig, aka "The Hot Handyman", started helping people fix their problems in June, 2015. The story is a good one...you ought to ask him about it sometime! But here's the nitty grity:
Pete has 20 years (gosh has it been that long?!) of construction experience. He started as a laborer for local small contractors where he grew up and lived. He worked for the Nebraska Game and Parks/Construction
Division providing maintenance for State Parks. If just about anything you've seen in a Park has needed repair...it's been fixed or painted by Pete! After college, marriage, kids, a Bar & Grill and many many relocations, Pete worked for the Kansas Rural Water Association as the GIS Coordinator (Look em up...they make pretty maps) and the KanSTEP Technical Assistant/Inspector. In a nutshell; the State gives small towns a bunch of money to buy building materials, then the citizens get to build themselves a new fire station, or library, or community center! But, small town farmers and community members don't generally know how to build stuff. That's where Pete came in. He taught them how to build it, and inspected it throughout the process! He has experience with all aspects of construction. Site prep, foundation, plumbing, concrete work, framing, steel erection, roofing, electrical, HVAC and finishing. Even cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony ;-) If your problem has anything to do with any type of construction...Pete can probably fix it!
