Lawrenceburg is a picturesque small town in the heart of the Tennessee Valley. There’s a historic downtown with shops, restaurants and a public square perfect for watching the world go by. We’re surrounded by it: forests, state parks, wildlife areas and a roadway dating back 10,000 years. There’s a timeless quality here. Life follows the rhythms of nature and the four seasons. The city and county

are named after Captain James Lawrence, best known for his last words, “Don’t give up the ship!” He yelled that to his crew during a battle as commander of the U.S Chesapeake in the War of 1812. Our most famous son, by far, is David Crockett. He came to fame here while this area was still the American frontier. Crockett was a gifted hunter, captivating orator, local businessman and U.S. Congressman who became a hero in the Battle of the Alamo in Texas. According to Sperling’s Best Places, life is good in Lawrenceburg. The cost of living here is 22% lower than the U.S. Population is just over 11,000 and ticking up. We’re not a booming metropolis but we are growing. Over the years, a lot of people have vacationed in Lawrenceburg and decided to put down roots. We’re glad they did and perhaps you will too–for a weekend or a lifetime!

The Farm Artisan Market stands as one of the most magical farmer's markets in all of Tennessee, located just outside of Lawrenceburg in Summertown—where farmers, artisans, and musicians come together for something that feels a little more magical every time you visit.

From the sound of live music drifting through the market to the smell of fresh food and baked goods in the air, there’s something about the atmosphere that makes this feel more like a festival than a market. Between handcrafted art, one-of-a-kind finds, and the rhythm of local musicians playing throughout the day, every visit feels different.

🗓️ Every 2nd Saturday, April–October
📍 100 Second Road, Summertown, TN 38483
