Family and Friends of the Riverboat Twilight,

Being a small, family business, we are mindful of what we share and don't about our private lives online. We try to stick to information about our cruises, fun videos, and gorgeous shots of the Upper Mississippi River--the stuff you're here to see!

But, at the end of the day, we are a family, and we wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about our daughter-in-law, Emilee, or as many of you might know her, "Peep" or Jake's wife.

Emilee was diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer in April 2026. Since then, she has undergone chemotherapy treatments and will be facing surgery, radiation, and immunotherapy in the coming year. She has a strong support network, and, thankfully, so do we.

Our crew has stepped up to cover for our son, Jacob, while he has been out accompanying Emilee to her treatments, appointments, and after care at home. We have also had many friends and family from our hometown and beyond reach out to check in, offer meals, and other ways to support Emilee.

Emilee's friends and family have put together a raffle-style fundraiser to directly help her with medical and life expenses. Every $20 you spend gives you an entry to win a Henry Lever-Action 22 Golden Boy, $500 in cash OR a two-day, overnight cruise aboard the Riverboat Twilight (good for two adults).

The drawing will take place Monday, November 9th and the winner will be contacted by phone.

Contributions can be made through the link below or through her Venmo (). All donations go directly to our daughter-in-law as she continues to navigate her cancer journey and recovery.

Today, we officially kick things into high gear as we begin operating 6 days a week until the end of our season. This means some long days ahead for our captain and crew.🩵

We truly cannot say enough about how grateful we are for each and every member of our crew. And if you’ve ever taken a cruise with us, you probably already know why we’re so proud of them.
