✈️ Before you travel internationally… check these 5 things!

Travel requirements can change, so don’t assume the rules are the same as your last trip—or rely on what someone else tells you.

Before you go, double check:

✅ Your passport expiration date — Some countries require your passport to be valid for several months beyond your travel dates.

✅ Visa or ETA requirements — Depending on where you’re headed, you may need to apply for authorization before you travel.

✅ Local laws & prohibited items — This includes medications! Something perfectly legal here may not be allowed in another country.

✅ Current travel advisories — It’s always worth knowing what’s happening at your destination before you leave.

✅ STEP enrollment — The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program allows the U.S. Embassy to send you important safety information while you’re traveling.

A few minutes of checking before you leave can save you a BIG headache later. 🌴✈️
