“Vacations are expensive.”
I know. I hear it all the time.
And trust me—I get it.
But every time we plan a family trip, I think about how quickly time is moving.
My kids won’t always be this little. They won’t always be excited about riding every attraction, meeting their favorite characters, staying up late at the parks, and ending the night talking about their favorite part of the day.
These years are going by fast.
There may always be reasons to wait… a busier season, a better time, a bigger budget.
But memories don’t happen “someday.” They happen when we decide to make time for them now.
That’s why I believe family travel is worth prioritizing.
Not because it’s the cheapest thing to do.Not because it fits perfectly into every budget.
But because the time we get with our kids in these stages of life is priceless.
One day they’ll be grown and making plans of their own.
Until then, I’m choosing the trips.The memories.The photos.The laughter.
Because we only get so many summers with them.
And those are worth everything. 💙
