When we first started ChinaSense 15 years ago, we focused on helping our visiting EMBA/MBAs to learn about mainland China. Over the years, we also cover neighboring locations, such as Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, and South Korea. We were very honored to host Texas Southern Univeristy EMBAs in Japan this year. The students are zealous, open minded, passionate, and funny! They are exactly the kind of executives we shall have on the global stage! Go, TSU!

Amidst the current G20 summit in Japan, I think it is interesting to show Top 20 Country GDP (PPP) History & Projection (1800-2040). Each one of us probably is too insignificant to alter the trend, but it would be smart to read the flow and show up at the right place at the right time.

I stayed in this local hotel in Hangzhou China a month ago. Guess what? Hotel robot by the name "Sweetie" swung by to bring me bottles of water. Then, he used his baby voice to ask me for a selfie. WOW, AI is closer and much more adorable than what I thought. I think I love him....

The U.S. Commercial Service Assessment is a competitive, oral and written examination used to recruit and select new, tenure-track Foreign Service Officers into the U.S. Commercial Service. Candidates who pass an initial online application screening process receive an invitation for the one-day oral assessment.

Top candidates who pass the oral assessment exam are placed on a list called the Rank Order Register, which is valid for two years. The agency uses this Register to extend conditional offers of employment to candidates, as vacancies become available, pending the successful completion of a Top Secret security clearance, a medical clearance and drug testing.
