🏡 Another weekend, another great group at Woodside by the Meramec!
This crew came in to celebrate a friend's 25th birthday and, like so many this summer, had to pivot when the flooding canceled their float trip. Instead of letting it ruin the weekend, they made the most of it with a day at Fugitive Beach, explored the area, and created some great memories together.

We truly couldn't have asked for better guests. They were friendly, respectful, communicated wonderfully, and left the home spotless. Hosting groups like this is exactly why we love sharing Woodside.

Mother Nature may have changed the plans, but it definitely didn't stop the fun. Thanks again for choosing US to celebrate such a special weekend—we'd welcome you back anytime! ❤️

Not every great weekend has to be spent on the river.

One of the best parts about staying at Woodside by the Meramec is discovering everything else our area has to offer. If the river is high or you're just looking for something different, you're still surrounded by plenty of adventures!

Spend your Saturday: 🥾 Hiking through beautiful local trails 🍷 Visiting nearby wineries 🛍️ Exploring the charming shops in Cuba, St. James, and Sullivan 🍔 Trying one of our favorite local restaurants 🌿 Taking in the scenery at Blue Springs Ranch and the surrounding countryside 📸 Hunting for Route 66 gems and roadside attractions

Sometimes the best memories come from exploring somewhere new. ❤️
