Reflections about the work, “Ashes to Ashes” created by Anne Deane Berman, Ph.D., Dr. Steve Berman and Larry Tuch, to memorialize and commemorate the lives of first responders and everyday people through their own voices honoring those who died during 9/11. The interview was conducted by our colleague Newton Lee.

Our lives will never be the same as any beautiful day reminds us of the beyond conceivable tragedy, friends lost and a city and its population forever transformed. We honor everyone who lost their lives and who were indelibly otherwise impacted as all of you will be forever remembered as individuals, friends, parents, and first responders.

Anne and I are grateful that we are alive to share these memories first hand with our son, Jacob Berman, and our NASA award winning DIGIVATIONS’, digivations.org and DIGIVATIONS XGENS, XGENS.org, programs’ students.
