We've sold our log cabin rental on the Wenatchee River but have many special memories.

We’ve sold our beloved cabin compound on the Wenatchee River. There was a tremendous amount of “Dunson Love” put into this property -- upgrading the main and guest cabins, creating a bunkhouse out of a junk room and creating a cool garage/workshop out of a dirt-floored carport. Filled with rustic charm and custom touches, it will be missed.

Plain Cellars is a family owned and operated boutique winery located in the small mountain community of Plain, a few miles from our cabin. We love their reds so much we became club members.
In the summer, their large, covered patio becomes a music venue with overflow seating on the field. Stop by for a tasting of great wine, local music and something scrumptious from the A Taste Of Plain food truck. You could even hire Chef Nick and wife Jamie for a custom dinner at our rental. They can create a tailor-made culinary experiences and are the only catering company contracted with vacation rentals in Plain to offer personal chef or delivered meals.

“A wonderful cabin on the river for our first Airbnb stay! This cabin was warm and cozy on some very cold days and nights in Plain. Our dog loved the backyard, and we enjoyed the cozy fireplace. We brought swimsuits for the hot tub, but with temperatures hovering in the teens we weren’t brave enough. Our dog wasn’t even brave enough to get in the river! The beds were comfy and there’s a spectacular kitchen. It honestly felt like we’d been transported away to some place wild like Alaska. We will definitely be back!”

Check out the snow that’s fallen on Stevens Pass in the last 5 days: 8” 12” 15.5” 15” and 6” yesterday, with 132” accumulated for the season! It only takes about 35 minutes to get to Stevens from our cabin, plus, there’s been enough snow in town for the Plain Valley Ski Trails to open.
