Beartooth Motorcycle Tours, LLC, also referred to as (BMT) will offer tours of the Beartooth Mountains, Northern Yellowstone National Park, and the Big Horn Mountain Range. BMT will specialize in offering tours starting and ending in Columbus MT and riding over the Beartooth Pass. Starting with two routes, one route will take riders through northern Yellowstone National Park. Another route will ta

ke riders to Sheridan WY via the Big Horn Mountains and back to Columbus MT. The Visit Yellowstone route will start in Columbus via Hwy 78, to Red Lodge and the Beartooth Pass, into Cooke City, Silver Gate, to Tower Junction, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Gardiner. There will be an overnight in Gardiner and the next day riders will be using the East River road to Livingston. From Livingston riders will access Frontage Roads back to Columbus MT. The Visit the Big Horn Mountains route will start in Columbus via Hwy 78 to Red Lodge dropping down to Belfry Mt, Powell and Lovell WY, to either Hwy 16 or 16A to Sheridan WY. After spending the night riders will head down to Buffalo WY access Hwy 14 across the Big Horns to Ten Sleep WY, and then on to Manderson WY to either Basin or Greybull WY to the Chief Joseph Hwy and return to Columbus via the Beartooth Pass and Hwy 78. There will be special stops along the way, including but not limited to: scenic spots and vistas, along with historic sites, museums, food and shopping. BMT is a Limited Liability Company incorporated with the state of Montana and the foresight and vision of Mr. Natalie Thares. It is a 100% family owned company.

Originally a stop for stagecoaches heading west, Red Lodge boomed in the late 19th century when coal was discovered nearby. The town saw an influx of European settlers, not to mention a large group of Native Americans seeking work in the mines, making its small population one of the most diverse in Montana at the time.
