When the snow starts flying and we’re scraping windshields, I promise you’ll wish you were here. ☀️🌴

A Saturday spent learning, connecting and growing! ✨ Melanie and Heather represented Simply Mouse Vacations at a Disney Destinations workshop in Oak Brook last Saturday. They spent the day connecting with the Disney Destinations team, setting goals for their businesses and collaborating with advisors from other agencies.

These local workshops give both new and experienced advisors valuable time to ask questions, build relationships and explore ways to grow their Disney businesses. That knowledge and support carry into the vacations they help our clients plan.

We’re so proud of Melanie and Heather for investing their time in their growth and representing our team. It sounds like they both had a wonderful day!

Would I choose a Boardwalk View balcony again on Royal Caribbean?

A couple of years ago, we booked a last-minute cruise at a guarantee rate. We couldn’t pick our stateroom, but we knew we’d get a balcony facing either the Boardwalk or Central Park. These balconies face inward toward the ship rather than out to those beautiful, wide-open ocean views. For the savings, we were happy to take the chance.

We ended up with a Boardwalk View room near the back of the ship. From our balcony, we could catch a glimpse of the ocean and watch the AquaTheater show. We actually watched the show from our room instead of going down to see it!

The Boardwalk was busy, especially in the evening, and there were rehearsals during the day. With the balcony door closed, though, we heard very little inside our room. The other trade-off was missing that panoramic ocean view from our balcony. I found plenty of places around the ship to enjoy it, so it didn’t bother me much on this cruise.

Would I book one again? If the savings were significant, yes. On a different trip, I might decide it’s worth paying more to pick my stateroom or have an ocean-facing balcony.
