Come join us for a basket weaving workshop! The Come Garden With Me Basket is a perfect way to carry around your garden tools and have room to tote the harvest too. This is a large basket with finished measurements of 18 1/2" L x 10" W x 11" high at basket back without handle or 17" high with handle. The reinforced base makes it super sturdy. Elastic is woven into the sides to hold the tools in place, or picnic or quilting supplies! A higher back makes everything easier to see. Embellishments are a bird on a flower and a birdhouse. Twining and shaping control are stressed in class. Accents colors are dark brown and green. Sorry, tools not included.

Come join us for a basket weaving workshop. Mr. Snowman is 22"tall and 11" at widest. He comes with all the accessories, include body and head molds, hat with holly, pipe, buttons, mittens, scarf, nose, and lights. After weaving his body and hat, black and white spray paint will be provided if time allows. This jolly guy also lights up!

Teaching at the Basketweavers Guild of Oklahoma Convention in October 2025 was a wonderful experience. The students were very enthusiastic and their creativity in weaving was inspiring.

Sandy taught the Tiger Tote, Bent Branch, Hen Basket Purse, and Holiday Treasure Bowl.

Steve taught the Rush Footstool, The Ottoman, Buffalo Plaid Homeroom Bench, and the Child's Woven Chair.

It was such a joy to teach at the Arkansas Basket Weavers Club Convention in September 2025. The students were attentive, engaged, and eager to apply what they learned. A true blessing to be part of their journey. The original US Marshal's Basket is on display at the new US Marshal's Museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Sandy taught the US Marshal Honor Basket, Hen Basket Purse, and Shaker's Cheese Basket.

Steve taught the Calvary Saddle Seat Footstool, Five Diamond Bench, Quad Point Footstool, and Weaver's Choices.

We had a wonderful time teaching in June 2025 at the Bluegrass Area Basketmakers Seminar. Such great students--engaged, thoughtful, and inspiring. Truly grateful for the experience!

Weaving Tip:
Purchase a couple of wide, long finger nail emory boards, only about $1 each and keep them in your weaving tool box. They work great for sanding the edges of flat oval reed after its been shaped for the rims. Reminds me, I need to replace mine too!
