Had a wonderful Wednesday of getting down to Magnum Sports MSX to shoot some bow with my bestie Taniya Ann Bethke. Then we headed on down to the creek to do a little trout fishing afterwards.

I had the pleasure of guiding Jeff and Julie from Wyoming yesterday. I had guided Jeff and his brother a few years back. This time around he brought his wife in hopes of her being able to catch her very first trout on a fly rod. The weather was not always in our favor but the fish were already wet and could care less whether it rained or not. I love being able to show folks around my little slice of paradise, Jeff and Julie agreed. Everyone caught fish and had a fantastic outing. Can't wait to do it again when they return next time!

Last Monday I shot over to the Driftless Chapter - Ruffed Grouse Society - RGS b**r release they held at Forager Brewery. I got off of work just in time to win, not only one raffle, but two! The second being a beautifully crafted, b**r inspired, 8' 5wt glass rod made by Sawyer Fly Rod Co. Wednesday I was able to get out and christen it with a handful of eager trout still looking to take hoppers on a beautiful driftless afternoon
