🚨CARNIVAL TROPICALE’S 2028 SAILINGS ARE HERE🚨
The wait is beginning to end.
Carnival Tropicale sailings are now appearing for booking, giving us our first look at the inaugural deployment of Carnival’s newest Excel-class ship from Galveston.
The first scheduled sailing departs April 15, 2028, with Tropicale beginning her Texas career on a six-day Western Caribbean cruise.
From there, the ship is scheduled to alternate six- and eight-day cruises, with itineraries reaching the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.
The schedule is significant for more than just Tropicale.
Carnival previously confirmed that Tropicale will join Carnival Jubilee in Galveston, putting two 6,000-plus-guest Excel-class ships in the Texas market.
What Carnival has not yet publicly explained is what Tropicale’s arrival means for Jubilee after April 2028.
That question is particularly interesting because Jubilee currently operates the same basic pattern: six-day Western Caribbean cruises and eight-day Bahamas sailings.
For now, we’re not going to speculate beyond what we know.
We’ll be watching for Carnival’s official announcement and the complete 2028 Galveston deployment. If Carnival reveals additional Tropicale venues, entertainment, design details or changes involving Jubilee, we’ll break all of that down separately.
