The Disney Believe is getting a LOT of attention because it’s Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship...But here’s why I think families should actually care➡️

The ship will sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, which is close to the airport. That can make getting to and from your cruise much less complicated. When you’re traveling with kids, simple is valuable!

Four or five nights is long enough to settle in, enjoy the ship, and actually relax... without committing to a week or longer. This also allows you to travel back and forth to Fort Lauderdale no matter where you’re located - without sacrificing more of your precious PTO!

Disney has already had three ships to build on this design. The Believe gets to be the fourth. That means Disney has had plenty of opportunity to learn, refine, and build on what families love about this class of ships

Depending on the itinerary, you can visit places like Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Nassau, and Cozumel. There’s options depending on the kind of vacation your family wants.

This might be my favorite part - and probably what I may get some heat for! You don’t have to know every character, every movie, or every piece of Disney history.

Your kids can recognize the characters and stories they already love... and you can simply enjoy being together.

That’s why I think the Disney Believe deserves a spot on your family vacation radar. It’s not just about a new ship. It’s about a vacation that can give your family the Disney magic... while giving parents a little less to manage.

Yesterday was an extraordinary day ! It was so much fun to find out about the Disney Believe in a room full of hundreds of other travel professionals and share the moment of the big reveals!

We received special insight from Jennifer Tinn, Director of Marketing Strategy at Disney Cruise Line who shared an inspirational message of how we help make memories for families experiencing Disney Cruise Line and how Disney cruises are unlike any other sailing.

The power of storytelling through social media was a focus from Matthew Henry, Organic Social Media Manager. I got so many ideas after hearing Matthew Henry speak! He’s an Organic Social Media Manager for Disney and made me think more about how what I share can connect and help others!

Finally, we heard from a panel of Disney Cruise Line representatives for dining operations, port adventures, and entertainment who gave us some behind the scenes info of how everything comes together for guests!

Faron Kelley, Disney Destinations Senior VP of sales strategy & solutions kicked off the live stream of the big reveal taking place on the Disney Wish - and he also knew nothing more than what we did- that’s how tightly wrapped the official announcements are!

I think my biggest thing to be excited for on this ship is the Moana inspired Grand Hall- which will have a MOVING chandelier that will mimic waves of the ocean (and have the heart of Te Fiti at its center) PLUS the Encanto stage show in the Walt Disney Theater!

What truly makes this ship unique among the Wish class is the heart of its message in theming. The stories and characters that are reflected in this ship all represent stories of hope and optimism- which is something I think we can all use right now, as much time as any!

After the reveal, we had a rockin’ reception in another ballroom at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort where several photo ops and character meets were set up to celebrate the stories coming to the Believe. They had food for us themed to the stories too!

It was an exciting evening but even more exciting thinking about all of the guests who will experience this new ship. If you’ve never experienced a Disney vacation at sea and have a young family, this is the ship for you! With most of the stories represented being from 1989 and later (other than Snow White who was the first!) this is the ship kids will adore, and parents who grew up with the stories represented will get the magic of seeing them experience the same joy they got seeing these stories the first tim, but now it’s through their eyes!

Sailings will be debarking from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, which in my opinion is the easier port to sail from! 4 and 5 night sailings is the perfect length too!

I cannot wait to book this for you and help you and your family make memories that will last a lifetime!

Can you BELIEVE it? I’ve been invited as part of the Charming Travel Co. to Walt Disney World by Disney Destinations for an agency training experience surrounding the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Believe!

Why are we here? I could just read the Disney Believe announcements when they come out. Instead, I’m going to Disney to learn about it firsthand! The more I know about Disney’s newest offerings, the better I can help you decide what’s right for you and your family!

If you’re considering a Disney vacation or cruise, let’s start planning it with an advisor who stays ahead of what’s new!

Here’s a couple of concepts of things we know so far:

1. Buzz and Woody will be the character statues etching the ship’s name on the stern. While up till now, Disney ships have had their own calligraphy, this one is an exception as “BELEIVE” will be playfully represented with the same typeface of the Toy Story titles.

2. The Grand Hall will be inspired by the South Pacific setting of Moana, and will greet guests with a bronze statue of Moana, Pua, and Hei-Hei at its staircase

On this day last year it was the first time I stepped into Epic Universe – the game-changing theme park at Universal Orlando Resort!

I knew I’d enjoy Dark Universe, the Universal Monsters-themed land, but I was pleasantly surprised by how immersive Isle of Berk turned out to be, and the park’s food is absolutely phenomenal! If you haven’t experienced it yet, I’d be happy to help plan your vacation to Universal Orlando Resort!
