Before you know it, the REAL ID Act will go into effect. Beginning May 7, 2025, every air traveler 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States.

Where You’ll Need It:
• Certain federal facilities
• Airports: Boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft
• Please note: At this time, the cruise lines will not require its guest to have a REAL ID, however, anyone flying at any point during their travels will need it.
