Horse and Barrel Tours was founded in 2011 on the principle ideal of providing private, personalized tour service of the highest quality to guests in and around Central Kentucky. We specialize in transportation to bourbon distilleries, horse farms, wineries, and local beer breweries. We are not limited only to these destinations, however. Every tour we embark upon is private and made from scratch

- by that we mean it is our pleasure to assist in customizing every tour to fit exactly what you and your group may want. There will never be any strict timelines to follow, nor any crowded buses filled with strangers. Let us plan your day out or event transportation for you! Above all, we want our guests to have a completely stress free, relaxing day all while enjoying the natural beauty of the Bluegrass State.

Horse and Barrel Tours Inc., is abiding by all state mandates put forward by the Commonwealth of Kentucky in recent weeks requiring us to shutdown our tour and retail operations due to the COVID-19 virus.

If you are a tour group that scheduled a tour with us this year, especially this spring we appreciate your patience during this difficult time in the tourism industry and in our country. We are working to reschedule, provide tour credit vouchers or gift cards or to provide refunds.

We are working with local tourism authorities for financial support along with the SBA loan programs in order to access short term capital so that we are able to continue our operations. We are also exploring local opportunities to provide transportation or delivery services to provide short-term revenues that would be allowed by state regulations.

Our greatest challenge will be the unknown length of time the state mandated shut-down will continue.

We are determined to stay in business!
