The Slave Dwelling Project brings crucial, long-overdue attention to extant slave dwellings across the country and highlights the vital importance of preserving these structures as part of our shared history. Through overnight stays, public programming, and living history interpretation, Mr. McGill encourages honest, meaningful conversations about slavery and its enduring legacy in America.

Join us for this powerful educational event and public presentation. All are welcome!

Join us at the Jesse James Birthplace on the evening of October 9. Please bring your own lawn chair. Event will be indoors if raining.
