The Liberty Anime Youth Group We are a group of young adults ages 12-17 who love Japanese anime, Manga, and Cosplay. We have monthly meetings and attend conventions.

Naka-Kon is coming..NAKA-KON IS COMING!! Who will we see. I always enjoy running into any of my group kids/ now adults. Good memories of our February meetings working on cosplays..cheers to glue guns and wig caps 🐼

My group is no longer actively having meetings and events etc. But I will always keep this page up with all our pictures and hopefully a way to stay in touch. I love running into my kids (and you will always be MY KIds, lol) in the real world as grown ups. I'm so very proud to
see what kind of amazing adults they have become. The twins and I are still going to Nakakon every year. If you are there look us up

Any of my Anime kids going to Naka-Kon, and did not get an email from me about our rooms..msg me for info..This is the last year I'm getting group rooms..Why did you guys have to go and grow up so fast. What amazing adults you all have turned into!!

I am getting ready to start a Pokemon Go walking group for kids on Facebook. This will motivate me to walk outside and give some neighborhood kids more excersise. I have had my Anime group for 5 years and everyone has grown up. The Anime group is not going anywhere but just wanted everyone know about my new group. And I hope I can get more adults included to host their own walking Go groups. I will have my group page up ASAP..so keep an eye out and let's "catch em all" lol

To all my Anime members..I just sent out an email about a new Pokemon Go walking group I'm getting ready to start.here is what it said about our Anime group page:
Hey Everybody

I am starting a Pokémon Go walking group and will have it up soon as a Facebook Group. So if you want to walk with us and hunt for Pokémon check out the group. I will post when it is up and running.

But also wanted to let you guys know that even though we are not having meetings. I still plan on attending Naka Kon, the Japan Fest, and Motaku if it ever comes back. As long as the twins are still living at home.

That means I will still be providing 3 rooms, meals and good times.

I am also planning on keeping this website up forever so if any of you want to talk to me or any of the other members it will still be here!!

And who knows I just may throw a surprise meeting someday soon.

My group is having a big party at Katts house on Halloween..theme..Rocky Horror Picture Show. Was going to have it outside but just a wee bit chilly for those wee little costumes. Fun times!!

Naka Kon tickets are on sale now for $35 until Oct 1st then they go up to $40 and so on...but...this year they are putting a cap on the sales and I'm betting this will make them sell out fast!! Also I have 3 rooms reserved at the Sheraton, spots are $50 each for the whole weekend ;)

Well that party was a blast..thank you all who came. I feel like summer can now officially begin. I think we had 25 maybe 30 teens in our living room laughing and having a good time. I love watching my kids(and yes I do not care how old you become you will always be one of "my kids") having a good time. And I love thinking up new ideas for things to do ;) For those who didn't make it..we missed you

Let's have an "end of school party"

Time: 7:00-10:00 PM

Hot dog roast around a fire with ghost stories ( so start writing your own or bring one from creepy pasta) Please keep them short so everyone gets a chance to tell a story

We will talk about things we might do this year in August since Motaku is canceled this year. Bring ideas.

Looking forward to hearing what everyone has planned to do this summer!

We are having a meeting Friday April 17th at my house 7-10 PM..just a chit and chat kind of meeting. I'm serving Subs, chips, snacks etc. Hope to see all of you there ;)
