After Hurricane Lowell, we’re incredibly grateful to say that Air Kauai is officially back in the air and open for business as of today.

Kauai is still recovering. Some of our friends, neighbors and fellow local businesses have a road ahead of them, and our hearts remain with everyone working to get back on their feet.

But here’s something important: one of the best ways to support Kauai right now is to keep supporting Kauai.

Visit. Eat local. Shop local. Book the tour. Tip generously. Support the businesses and the people who make this island what it is.

Our team is ready. Our helicopters are ready. And after all that rain, Kauai has apparently decided subtlety is overrated because the waterfalls are absolutely showing off right now.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the incredible outpouring of support, kindness, and understanding you have shown our team during this time.
As we navigate the process of reopening and rescheduling flights, our top priority remains the safety and well-being of both our team and our guests. We are incredibly grateful to share that our hangar and all of our helicopters were not harmed by the storm.
Our team is working diligently to safely restore operations and be there for our community in every way we can. We are hopeful and working toward a September 21 reopening, and we will continue to keep you updated as plans progress.
We know this time has brought uncertainty and changes to travel plans, and we truly appreciate your patience, grace, and understanding as we work through the process together.

Quick PSA before your flight! Let's get you dressed for the best hour of your Kauai trip 👇

🌂 Slide 1: Comfy layers! It gets cool up there, especially with the doors off (we do provide jackets and goggles for doors-off, but this is still a helpful hack!)

👟 Slide 2: Sneakers over sandals (trust us on this one. Closed toed is required for doors-off, but it's helpful for all tour types)

🎨 Slide 3: Stick to darker colors and simple patterns. Busy prints and bright whites can cause glare in photos and videos

🔋 Slide 4: Fully charged phone (you're gonna need it for 500 unskippable photos. FYI, we do provide lanyards for doors-off.)
