I went out today in Kona as I have been in search for the best Bahn Mi sandwich and boy I found it. This is the Bahn Mi French Dip from a classified location but if you are to ever sail with me you can guarantee that I will bring you here. They also make great Mahi Tais. Would you look at that view?

This week I had the pleasure of waking up at 3am to hop on a bus and drive up to the top of Haleakala. Haleakala is a volcano in Maui. It has been dormant for over 200 years. I got to witness one of the most beautiful full sunrises I have ever seen. At the top where we were viewing the sunrise is approximately 10,000 ft above sea level. Also one of the coldest spots in Hawaii, while we were there it was 25° F with a ridiculous wind chill.

Well you know what today's is...It's time for a Throwback Thursday post.

In the photo below I had the privilege to be sailing around the Mediterranean and we stopped in a small little city called Barcelona, Spain. Not sure if any of you have heard of it but it is absolutely stunning. I had a enough time that day to go over and see the Sagrada de Familia. Construction began in March of 1882 and to this day they are still working to complete this beautiful church. If you ever get the chance to go you much check this place out.

Well yesterday was one for the books. I got to spend the late afternoon up on the Bridge of the Pride of America as we sailed around the Na Poli Coast. There have been several movies that have been filmed in various locations around the northern coast of Kauai.
