This past week we shared some of our exciting 🦊 Den upgrades! One is a few
months old, the other two had their first guests just two weekends ago. Of course we had to test the upgrades first, and may I say, they are sweet!

This is the big one, literally! We upgraded the primary bedroom bed with a beautiful new bed frame, blueberry-blue no less, and a huge new king sized hybrid temper pedic/coil bed (upgraded from a queen) the size is especially important for those of us with littles who like to sneak into our beds. And let me tell you, the kiddo could bounce on one side of the bed while my tea and I sat quietly reading on the other side-like magic!

Now I just have to talk Ethan into getting one for home too!

Our last big upgrade that we’re sharing this week may be my favorite, and that’s saying quite a bit! AIR CONDITIONING!!! To be accurate, mini splits. Last year I was in a leg cast, we did not have AC, it was awful. This year, sweet, dehumidified, cool air for those hot days!

We hope that if you tried us last year and found it a bit too toasty that you will give us another try. We installed two, one in the downstairs bedroom and one at the top of the stairs in the loft that will cool the main and loft levels.

I know I’m looking forward to coming home after adventures to a cool relaxing space!

Update number two that we’re sharing this week and this time we went smaller… in a good way! We loved our entertainment center, beautiful wood, very well made, but it didn’t fit the space and blocked the view of the tv if you sat in the corner. Overall just made the space feel tighter than it should have. This is still a sore spot for Ethan so maybe don’t show him the same level of excitement as I did when we finished the swap… 😅

Here is the new set up! We’re still deciding if the tv should be mounted on the wall, and of course Ethan wants a larger tv- with the summer Olympics in less than 100 days he may even be able to convince me of it’s necessity but I digress. Let us know what you think, should we mount the tv or keep it on the sideboard? Happy Olympics Watching 😁-Juliana
