Another musical night of solid gold music is coming to Springfield. County music stars – Confederate Railroad will be performing on the Moors Family Stage on July 27th. With 20+ hits they are a band that everyone knows. Even if the name, Confederate Railroad, doesn’t ring a bell – their hit songs are sure to bring back a good memory.

Confederate Railroad has a history of great live performances. They enjoy performing and it shows! They are known for hanging around and mingling with their fans long after the music ends. So come early, get a good seat, and enjoy another toe-tapping night of big hits at Maine’s Favorite county music venue – the historic Springfield Fairgrounds. Regional favorites, Midnight Rose, will open the show at 6:30pm with our headliners taking the stage at 8:00pm. Gates open at 5:00pm.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of the show. They can be purchased online at www.TheSpringfieldFair.com or locally at: Pat’s Pizza & Billeen’s Video of Lincoln, Raymond’s Variety in Lee, Smith’s General Store in Springfield, Maryanne’s Market in Medway, Spenser’s Ice Cream in Bradley, Patten Drug in Patten, Bell’s IGA in Orono and Calais, Aroostook Milling in Houlton and Presque Isle, and Knight’s store in Danforth.

We are once again offering free camping in the parking field adjacent to the fairgrounds, to anyone holding a ticket to the show. If campers do not have a ticket you will be able to purchase them upon entering the camping area. Concession food will be available along with Ice Cold Beer in the pavilion. Must show Valid ID. No coolers or outside alcohol will be allowed in the fairgrounds. All vehicles and coolers will be checked – Alcohol removed. Anyone visibly intoxicated will not be allowed in – even with a ticket.

July 27th promises to be a great night. It’s being proudly sponsored by: Pat's Pizza, Wares Power Equipment, Machias Savings Bank, Gateway Title Company, Freightliner of Maine, Lincoln Maine Federal Credit Union, Steaks N' Stuff, and Robinson's Automotive. When you see the good folks at these businesses – please let them know that you appreciate their support. Without their help, this would not have been possible.

If we have a good crowd we intend to move back our stage one hundred feet further from the grandstand. While still offering great views from our 1890 era wooden grandstand. It will open up seating to accommodate 5000 people – twice our current capacity. This will give us the opportunity to go after even bigger artist. So stay tuned… we are hoping for two big concerts in 2020.

For all Confederate Railroad information go to: www.TheSpringfieldFair.com. We’ll see ya at the party – July 27, 2019!
