SPECIAL, SPECIAL SPECIAL
We were able to get a great catch of our own Killies, plus utilize a local fisherman to provide us with additional Killies. Because of this we are able to lower our bait prices for LIVE Killies as we are frankly OVERSTOCKED with them now. When the market and stock dictates, our Killies can sell for as much as $12 a Dozen, however under todays circumstances we are able to offer you an amazing special at $12.00 a Quart or $8 a Pint (I'm pretty sure these prices are unheard of on Long Island, NY, especially down on the water). In Most Cases, you only need a Pint to last you for a day or two. Our True Pints contain about 80 to 120 Killies (depends on size, how they fill up the container, etc).

This Special is Available Now and is not our normal every day pricing so come now, come this weekend and get on YOUR LIVE BAIT at the AllPro Market and Tackle. Spearing is Great, Fluke Belly is Awesome, but there is nothing like a LIVE KILLIE Struggling on your hook, screaming EAT ME!

Standard hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. Most weekends we are there from 7am, but please contact us first to confirm.

Wow, is all I can say. I wrote out checks for charity today for thousands of dollars, but NOTHING was more rewarding than visiting Branches Long Island Community Group and dropping off some fresh fish and a "simple" $100 donation (we had some money left over from the raffles).

EVERYONE needs to applaud Christopher Ramos of Pelagic Outfitters and Theo Delyanis who took the time to fillet the fish.

Honestly, this was the first time I ever visited a Food Pantry....have you? We provided several bags of fish and you would think we were delivering frozen gold to this community center. The appreciation that I received and the impact it left on me, knowing we were helping people right here on Long Island was overwhelming for me.

I can tell you this. NO ONE IN THE DUKE OF FLUKE WAS A LOSER. If you think you are, then take a simple drive to Branches Long Island, in Middle Island and in about 1 second, you would be willing to do it all over again. Absolutely... Wow...

Again, thank you Christopher Ramos, Keri Anne and Theo Delyanis, for filleting those fish. I want to let you know you PERSONALLY made an impact on people's lives.

There were some Real Heroes Yesterday, some BEHIND THE SCENE Life Savers that allowed the Duke of Fluke 2024 to be successful.. Some of these names you'll know, and some you may not, but BELIEVE ME..without them.. This doesn't happen...
Suzanne Caturano my wife.. Not only does she put up with me, and allows me to keep my home like a warehouse, she was dealing with a likely concussion from a car accident she was just involved in, and she was there every minute, every hour (although she is snoring as I write this) to make the Duke of Fluke what it was..

Lee of the Worm Bar. Lee Manages the AllPro Market & Tackle. She is known as my work-wife. She is that person that JUST GETS IT DONE. I would need 2 hours to thank her, but it will only go to her head and then I would have to pay her more!!! so I'll end it here.. LOL

Kerry Anne Herley and her Husband Robert Herley. They didn't know they were going to be part of the DUKE OF FLUKE until they stopped by Yesterday... but they both saved the day, along with my son Brian.

William Witchey aka Billy Combs, of Combs Bait and Tackle. There is no Duke of Fluke without him.... he has written the script to allow this legacy of a tournament to continue.

Chris Ramos of Pelagic Outfitters. Wow.. is all I can say about this guy. All I can say is that the industry NEEDS HIM... and WE NEED TO SUPPORT HIM. Please, if you are driving down Montauk Hwy, in Lindenhurst, STOP BY HIS SHOP. He always has inshore deals available, and he of course can set you up for your offshore adventures.

Now, there were many people who helped out to make this happen, and maybe one day, if I get a free 100 hours, I will write them all down and give them the recognition that they deserve... but they know who they are, and they know that I'm very grateful for all their assistance and help. So a HUGE THANK YOU TO THEM..

Lastly... Thank you.. Chris Bach, Kelly Meyer for the hats and being a BIG SPONSOR for the Shirts. People don't know this, but the hats were so popular, Chris and Kelly didn't even get one!!!

Some Great Stories out of the Duke of Fluke Tournament Yesterday... and I will share them over the next week... but for right now.. Let's Congratulate and Tip Our Hats to: Joe D'Angelo... 2024 DUKE OF FLUKE.... The DUKE. He was supported and fished with Rich Kehoe, Don Johnson & Tom D'Angelo on boat #4. He took home over $4700 with a 7.62lb Fish!

The Duke Purse Structure.. (over $17,440 in purse money to be handed out!!!)

70 Boat will be fishing in the tournament on July 7th
222 People will be fishing in the tournament.

$2150 in Rods, Rigs and Jigs have already been handed out prior to the tournament.

$2637 has been raised for Charity, and this does not include any raffle money that will go to charities. I am sure we will be well over $3000!

DUKE OF FLUKE: NEWS YOU CAN USE
1. If you're in the Tournament bring your boat to Surfside 3 for Gas Today.. Save .10 per gallon. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TOURNAMENT FLAG, REGISTERED TOURNAMENT BOAT ONLY.
2. All those participating in the DUKE OF FLUKE can buy a DOF Bait Deal at the AllPro Market & Tackle. $35 you get 2 Packages of Canadian Spearing, 1 Package of Fluke Belly, 1 Package of Pro Teasers (set of 4), 7lbs of Ice.
3. The Ocean may be ugly tomorrow, 4'+, 6 seconds apart, out of the south/southwest. Don't be a Hero...ALL of the Big Fish are being caught inside. If you are unsure where to target the fish, come by the shop today, after 12pm and I'll show you some locations on the map you can try or visit Billy at Combs Bait and Tackle, he'll put you on the fish.
4. The local weather is calling for mostly dry skies, winds below 12mph, humid/sticky. PLEASE make sure you are well hydrated. Enjoy the Day!
5. You can start weighing in your fish at 2pm. Remember the weigh-in is at the Amityville Beach Pavilion, at the very end of S. Bayview Ave, off of Montauk Hwy. You can bring a loved one and enjoy the events.
6. RAFFLES, RAFFLES, RAFFLES.. We will be raising money for the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation, Tunnel for Towers Foundation and the General Fund to offset some costs. If you can, your participation would be greatly appreciated. Raffle Prize Values will vary between $100 to $900, so there will be something for everyone.. Good Luck.
7. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... If you can, get down to Combs Bait and Tackle and make a purchase TODAY. Billy has really bent over backwards to help out and make this work for everyone and hasn't asked for a dime. He won't tell you, but this year has been SPECIFICALLY HARD on tackle shops and we all need to support local places like his. So please, I don't ask for much, stop by, make a purchase, a bucktail, some bait, a teaser...something, anything. I would greatly appreciate it.

REMINDER....
Besides raising money for Sarcoma Cancer Foundation and Tunnel to Towers, we also want to contribute to a local charity, a true grass roots charity right here in our backyard, Branches Long Island Community Group, ran by Samantha Morales. Theo Delyanis has been GREAT ENOUGH, to donate his time and skills to fillet the fluke that are being weighed in. We will have a bin/cooler for DONATED FISH. He will Fillet these fish, we will package them and freeze them and deliver them to Branches Long Island Community Group so they can FEED OUR COMMUNITY. This is to feed people right here on Long Island. All You Need to do is CATCH THE FISH... and Theo Delyanis and AllPro will take care of the rest. We will also set up a TIP JAR (against Theo's blessing) for those who would like to keep their fish, but would like Theo to fillet it for them. The weigh in is at 4pm. Theo will arrive at 4:30-4:45pm (he is actually coming from work to do this!!!) So lets see if we can make something special happen and FEED OUR COMMUNITY..
