A local child’s trip to a Shriners hospital in the early 1980s started a Lineville car show that had raised about $925,000 by 2023. 🚗 The swap meet is Saturday, October 31, and the car show is Sunday, November 1, from 9 AM to 3 PM at Lineville City Park. Admission is $5, and kids 15 and under get in free. One of the founders told the Gadsden Times the show began after a burned child from Clay County needed treatment at a Shriners hospital, and the money still goes to Shriners Children’s Hospital.

What’s the best thing you ever found at a swap meet?
