⛳ Golf, Community & a Pretty Awesome Night
Had an awesome time at tonight for the shootout — and this one was a little more fun because I got to bring my sister Traci Emory along for her first-ever golf experience. 😂⛳

That’s really what I love about nights like this. You don’t have to be a scratch golfer. You don’t even have to be a golfer. Come out, hit some balls, meet some people, laugh at a few shots and enjoy yourself.

It was also another opportunity to get out into the Grand Strand golf community, meet some new people and talk a little about The Getaway Guy and what we’re trying to build here locally.

Yes, we plan golf trips and sports travel. But I want The Getaway Guy to become something bigger than simply booking trips.

I want us to be part of the golf community here on the Grand Strand — supporting local businesses, bringing people together, creating events and hopefully introducing a few new people to the game along the way.

Tonight was a pretty good example of exactly that.

Great people. Golf. A few laughs. And apparently a brand-new golfer in the family. 😂
