Baptist Prep is thrilled to announce DJ Townsend as the new Assistant Boys Basketball Coach and teacher at Baptist Prep!

A proud 2021 graduate of Baptist Prep and soon-to-be 2025 graduate of Williams Baptist College, DJ made his mark as a standout player during his college basketball career. Now, he’s coming home to help lead the Eagles basketball program under Head Coach John Hemingway.

DJ’s heart for the Lord and passion for the game and mentoring young athletes make him a perfect fit for the Baptist Prep community. Welcome home, Coach Townsend!
