One of my favorite travel hacks is getting easier to access for Arkansas travelers!

If you’ve been putting off applying for Global Entry, this is your reminder to get started!

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will host a three-day Global Entry Enrollment Event at Clinton National Airport in Little Rock on July 17–19, 2026. This event is for travelers who have already received conditional approval and need to complete their required interview.

Why is this a big deal? Normally, the closest enrollment centers are in places like Memphis and Dallas, or you have to complete your interview when returning from an international trip. This event gives Central Arkansas travelers a convenient local option!

📍 Location: Clinton National Airport (2nd floor near the TSA checkpoint)
📅 Dates: July 17–19, 2026
🚗 Parking: East Economy Lot (first 45 minutes free)

To participate, you’ll need to:
✔️ Complete your Global Entry application (Do it now so you have time to be conditionally approved!)
✔️ Pay the application fee
✔️ Receive conditional approval from CBP
✔️ Schedule your interview through your Trusted Traveler Portal (TTP) account by selecting “LITTLE ROCK ENROLLMENT EVENT” as the enrollment location

Global Entry provides expedited entry into the United States at participating airports, land crossings, and seaports—and it includes TSA PreCheck, making travel smoother both abroad and at home.

If international travel is in your future, I highly recommend applying sooner rather than later so you’ll have time to receive conditional approval before the event!

Day 9 – We pulled into the Port of Miami bright and early and were unceremoniously kicked off the ship. How rude!

Since our flight on Southwest wasn’t until late afternoon, we squeezed in one more adventure and headed to the Everglades for an airboat tour. Exploring the canals and spotting alligators in the wild - and at a show - was a lot of fun!

Of course since we can never travel to Miami without issues, the journey home didn’t go without some bumps. The airport was absolute chaos due to Spirit Airlines suddenly ceasing operation and hundreds if not thousands of passengers trying to get new flights, and our first flight was delayed so much that we were going to miss our connection. After realizing there was no way to get home that night from Miami, I managed to find us seats on a flight out of Fort Lauderdale instead.

With plenty of time (or so we thought), we hopped on the train to make the transfer. Unfortunately, the trip took much longer than expected, and before long we were racing through the airport to make our new flight. By the time we finally boarded, all we could do was laugh—and order a well-earned drink!

What a way to wrap up an unforgettable trip!

Day 8 – We visited Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas. With its soft, white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, it was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. At one point, a school of fish surrounded us while we were swimming—such a fun experience! Some ladies near us didn’t like it and kept screaming. 🤣

The island is currently undergoing major enhancements, including a new pier and water park. I can’t wait to see all the changes the next time we visit!
