🔥 Come out and celebrate the men and women who answer the call! 🚒

The Warren County Firemen’s Association invites the community to the 2026 Fireman’s Day Celebration on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM–2 PM in downtown Warrenton. The day kicks off with a parade at 10 AM at Warrenton Town Square.

Bring the family and spend the day meeting our local firefighters, checking out hands-on demonstrations, learning about fire safety and volunteer opportunities, visiting with state and local partners, and grabbing something good from local food trucks.

There’s a full weekend of ways to step into lake life, from wine and live music at the vineyard Friday night to a free festival near Lake Gaston Saturday.

Here’s what’s happening:

🍷 Cork & Fork
Friday, August 28 | 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Seven Springs Vineyard, Norlina
Sip local wine, enjoy small plates, live acoustic music, and an art auction as you ease into the weekend.

☀️ Lake Gaston Catfish Festival
Saturday, August 29 | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Buck Springs Park, Littleton
Admission is free! Enjoy food trucks, local vendors, live entertainment, a Kids Zone, and plenty of lakeside fun.

There’s nothing quite like a Warren County summer. 🍉

From lake days and long evenings to community gatherings, good food, and a little friendly watermelon competition, we’ve loved every minute of it.

This summer, we laughed a lot, made memories, and soaked up all the fun we could. And after last night’s rain and a welcome dip in the temperatures, we’re starting to get a tiny hint that a new season is on its way.

We’re ready for fall in Warren County, with festivals, local flavors, crisp days, and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the season together.

24 hours to go! 🏄

The wakeboarding action hits Warren County tomorrow!

If you’re competing in the AF Wake Wakeboarding Championships, there’s still time to register online and get ready for the water. Late registration is also available in person tomorrow morning.

Exhibition starts at 7:00 AM, with competition kicking off at 9:00 AM.

Not competing? Come watch from the shore at 292 Northern Cove Drive in Littleton. Bring your crew, settle in by the water, and enjoy a morning of wakeboarding right here in Warren County, NC.
