Dear Traveler(s),

I hope this email finds you well and safe and again, hereby I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our travelers, family members, staff and supporters for their understanding and patience during the pandemic. We have been working hard to get back up and running and are excited to announce that we have our team back. Thank you Christine and Annette! You are our Rock Stars!!!!

The first two trips of 2021 have been a success! We were so excited to see our customers enjoying their trips after the long "covid break".

We did have to implement some changes due to the pandemic that affected some of the service(s) that you are accustomed to. All travelers are required to wear a face mask covering their mouth and nose. In addition, all our travelers will need to have their vaccination completed prior to their trip. A vaccination record is required and need to be brought to the office prior or on the date of the trip. We also do temperature checks prior to check in. If you have an elevated temperature please do NOT come to our office on the day of your scheduled vacation. You will receive a full credit towards a different trip of your choice.

Starting immediately we are going digital with our photo albums. Travelers will now have the opportunity to pick the photos of their trip(s) from a shared album. After your pictures are uploaded you will receive an email with a link to your vacation pictures. Make sure the email address you have used to sign up, or filled-out on the customer profile are current. Not only can you order pictures but also many other products like calendars, photo books, blankets etc. etc.

It has also come to my attention that many of our customers have requested wheelchair transportation/use on their trip or part of their trip.With the 1:4 staff to customer ratio it has become almost impossible to accommodate all travelers that need this assistance on their trip. Starting November 1st, 2021, travelers that need this service will incur a "1 on 1" service charge in addition to their vacation cost (the total charge depends on the vacation destination). Please note that here will be limited availability on each trip and accommodations will need to be made well in advance.

Again, we are very excited to be traveling again. We apologize for some of the changes that we had to make in order to continue our services. Safety and fun - in that order - has made us to where we are today! We hope to see you soon on your next vacation!

Dear Traveler,

After some promising weeks of flattening the Covid curve, corona virus infections are unfortunately on the upswing in several states we travel to. Fortunately the new cases and rate of infections remains low in New York State.

We continue to work on the Tulip “Back to Travel” re-opening guide and will provide you with our plan when it is safe for us and our travelers to continue our travels. We have received numerous calls in regard to the upcoming trips as advertised in our 2020 brochure. None of the dates of those trips will be possible at this time. However, NONE of our trips will be canceled. As soon as it is safe to travel again we will inform you of the new date by phone and in writing (adjusted itinerary will be mailed to all the travelers signed up for that trip).

Our office will remain closed at this time.

Our 2020 brochure will be the same for 2021. Most of our trips had to be postponed and thus we make sure all of our travelers get to go on their trip of choice. Also, for those travelers that did not have a chance to register for a trip in 2020, they may use that brochure as a guide towards signing up for 2021. The trips will conclude in the same week as advertised as much as possible. Some dates might have to be altered due to conflicts and or schedules (NASCAR, NFL, MLB).

Again, we try to be as transparent as possible and give you updates when they become available. It sure has been challenging but we feel confident that at the end we will come out safer, stronger and better.

FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

My Trip date is coming up, what will happen?

At this time we will not have your trip on the advertised date in our brochure. We will plan your trip for a later date.

How do I know when that later date is?

All travelers will get at least a 4 weeks notice prior to the rescheduled trip date. You will receive a phone call from our tour director, as well as a new itinerary for your trip mailed to your residence.

Do I have to sign up again for the rescheduled date?

All travelers that were already registered for the trip of their choice do not have to register. You are automatically enrolled into the rescheduled trip.

What about your sporting events trips?

At this time there are no professional sports being played allowing spectators. Those travelers that are registered for either our NASCAR, YANKEES or BILLS will be automatically enrolled in that trip when their governing bodies allow us to attend and attending is safe.

What if the new date of my trip does not work for me?

If the date of the rescheduled trip is in conflict with other plans you may have, Tulip Travel will apply the amount you paid for that trip as a credit towards any Tulip Travel trip. No cancellation fee will be charged.

When will trips resume?

We wish we could look in a crystal ball and give you an answer. Some states are carefully opening up and assessments are made every two weeks (Phase 1 in New York). As a travel company we are also monitoring closely these assessments in the areas and venues we travel to. Travel and recreation is currently scheduled to "re-open” in phase 4 and this could mean late summer or early fall. Again, it is hard to predict when we can resume our trips. We appreciate your patience and try to keep you updated as much as we can.

What safety measures will be in place when trips resume?

A Covid-19 safety plan will be in place for when we re-open. All our travelers will get a copy of the plan. Social distancing, face masks, van-cleaning and temperature checks might be included. We are still working on this plan and will be sharing it with all travelers, families and staff when completed.

Can I still sign up for trips at this time?

Absolutely! Not only can you sign up for trips that are currently advertised in the 2020 brochure but also for those trips that had to be postponed because of the Covid -19 pandemic. This means that we still take applications for: Spring Training in Sunny Florida ’21, Chicago by Rail, TBD ’20, Washington DC, TBD ’20, Nashville, TBD ’20, Ladies Only, September 23-25 ’20, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame TBD ’20, Yankees, TBD, ’21, Elvis Week in Lake George, TBD ’21, Ocean City, MD TBD ’20, Hershey, TBD ’20, NASCAR Poconos, TBD ’21, PA DUTCH, TBD ’20 - We will continue to update this list as time passes and we have more information on the reopening of the facilities we utilize at our vacation destinations.
