DATE/TIME CHANGE!

Our Livingston Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Open House will be next Thursday, Sept. 26th from 6:30-8 pm at the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds in the Green Barn. Come out and meet our coaches, ask questions, and sign up for this exciting project club!

This is NOT a practice and is not mandatory to sign up but is recommended for parents of new or interested participants. Dates for the first practice will be posted ASAP.

Updates for Friday! Rifle is still on to shoot silhouettes, Shotgun juniors will shoot as well! Senior trap will now shoot on Sunday! See the email from Mrs. Mikaela for the updated times for Sunday.

Tomorrow's shooting sports practice is CANCELED due to weather outlook! We will schedule a second practice for January to help participants get their hours in!

Don't forget we will have our October practice this Saturday, October 21st starting at 8 am at the LPSO Training Facility Range off of Hwy 190 between Walker and Livingston! The address for the LPSO Range is 29384 Woodside Dr, Walker, LA 70785.

Shooting sports registration is different from the 4-H Online enrollment! 4-H online enrolls youth in the 4-H club, shooting sports is a separate project and we need additional registration forms because of the nature of the activities.

We MUST have shooting sports registration forms and fees prior to you stepping on the range! If needed we will have copies of the forms there, but they are attached if you would like to fill it out ahead of time. Bringing completed forms to practice will speed up the process and get your member on the range quicker! Fees can be paid at practice by cash or check made out to Livingston Parish 4-H or with card online through our square site: https://livingstonparish4h.square.site/s/shop

Interested in joining shooting sports? We are having our Shooting Sports open house tomorrow, Tuesday Sept. 12th from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds! This is a great time for new and interested 4-H members and their families to come see what we have to offer in this project, meet our coaches, ask questions, and get signed up! Come and go as you can, we hope to see you there!

We are still on for practice tomorrow. It will be cold, but no precipitation is expected. PLEASE DRESS FOR THE WEATHER! Due to potential issues with the air guns in colder temperatures, we are pushing back the practice for AIR PISTOL ONLY to 10 am- 2 pm. This means all time slots are pushed back 2 hours. You should have received an email from sign-up genius reflecting this change. Don't forget, registrations for regionals are due tomorrow!
