We sadly report the passing of Joseph (Joe) Benich, founder of Nomads Travel Club.

Joe was 91 years old at the time of his passing on Wednesday September 8, 2021. In 1965 he left his secure employment with General Motors Corporation to start and build Nomads Travel Club. 30 years later, in 1995, he retired from Nomads and, with his wife Ami (former Chief Flight Attendant for Nomads), moved to the Phoenix area to enjoy an additional 26 years of retirement. Joe's able operational and financial guidance of Nomads through the years resulted in Nomads being the last remaining air travel club in the United States to own and operate its own aircraft, fondly known as the "Flying Clubhouse". NexTour is a successor club formed and run by former Nomads employees. Both former Nomads and NexTour members owe Joe a great debt of gratitude for enabling us to continue our worldwide travels in the comfort of a private aircraft (for many years) and with great friends we have made while on those trips.

We offer two exciting Spring tours this month:
Charleston & Savannah - Explore these two beautiful cities in the Deep South. Unused rooms will be released on Nov. 14th. Since our visit will be in high season, there will be little possibility of getting more rooms after that date.

Avalon Danube Riverboat - The beautiful new Avalon Envision will carry us from Budapest, to Vienna and finally Nuremberg with stops in Regensburg, Melk and Durnstein along the way.

Important Updates:

Secrets St. Martin - Need one more room to confirm this tour, but our room block will be released October 2nd if it is not confirmed.

Egypt - A few spaces on this tour remain, but the ship is selling out quickly.

Important Updates:

Vienna & Prague - After this issue went to print we confirmed this tour. Note the superbly located hotels: the Prague Christmas Market is right at our hotel's front door; in Vienna our hotel is across from the Opera.

Australia & New Zealand - If you missed our email earlier this week, those already confirmed got significantly lower prices on land and air. We don't know how long these lower prices will be available, so don't delay if you are interested in the tour!

Beaches Negril - If this tour is not confirmed by Sept. 12 we lose the rooms being held.
