🚲 Our last day was spent in beautiful Amsterdam!
From charming canals and historic homes to bikes zipping by in every direction, Amsterdam truly lives up to its nickname as the "Venice of the North." With over 800,000 bikes and more canals than Venice, it's a city made for wandering and wonder. And of course the Keukonhof Gardens earlier in the day. 🌷

Also in this post: highlights from one of the most scenic stretches of our journey—the Middle Rhine Valley in Germany. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to over 40 castles and fortresses along a 65-kilometer stretch between Bingen and Koblenz. Rolling hills, vineyard-covered slopes, and storybook villages made this part of the river absolutely magical!

What a journey it's been! On our way to airport to fly home ✈️

We made it to the tulips 🌷! More than 7 million bulbs are planted each year, with the gardens only being open for 6 weeks!

04/30/2025

Most of the ship spent Tuesday at Schwetzingen Palace and Gardens, while a small group went to Bad Durkheim on a Vineyard hike. 🍷

Later on, we had an apple strudel demonstration from Head Chef Stefan.

We then docked in Rudesheim for the night, where most of the guests took a choo choo train (tram) to a coffee tasting 🚂 ☕

Today, we are sailing the most beautiful part of the Rhine River before stopping in Koblenz!

The last two days on the Rhine River cruising between Germany and France.

Yesterday, we experienced the tale of two cities, which included a walking tour of Breisach (Germany), and Neuf-Brisach (France).
Some climbed to the top of the city to visit the cathedral.
We ended the night on board with a Captains welcome reception and a performance from the Swiss Bell Ringers!

Today, a walking tour of Strausborg, including a visit to Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg.
A town primarily made up university students, it was hustling and bustling! This town has switched nationalities 5 times, between French and German!

A great day was had by all! Our last day in Lucerne, Switzerland was spent by most enjoying a gondola ride up to Mt. Pilatus then boarded our cruise for the next 8 days in Huningue, France! Group leader, Katie, and her sister found a Dunkin!

Today in Lucerne started out rainy but ended with a beautiful sunset! ☔ ☀️

Some brave souls, opted to join forces together to take a train to Interlaken! 🚆

Tomorrow, those who opted to add on an excursion are visiting the high and mighty, Mt Pilatus 🏔️! Then, to our fabulous river cruise later on!
