Austria, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland — One for the Books!
What an unforgettable adventure! Our recent trip was filled with breathtaking scenery, incredible food, and wonderful people. From the moment we landed in Munich to our farewell in Zurich, every day was packed with beauty, history, and fun.
Here’s a look at our amazing journey:
Departed the USA and arrived in Munich, Germany, where we were greeted by our Quest Voyager tour director. We made our way to Innsbruck, Austria, surrounded by stunning alpine views and historic charm.
Explored Innsbruck the Golden Roof, Triumphal Arch, and Hofburg Palace and enjoyed a lively Tyrolean folklore evening with dinner, music, and dancing.
Then headed to Salzburg, the city of Mozart and “The Sound of Music,” we shopped for Swarovski crystal and local treasures in Innsbruck.
A full day in Munich, discovering Marienplatz, the famous Glockenspiel, and the Hofbräuhaus a true Bavarian experience! BEST day ever!!
Optional excursion into Italy to visit Merano and Bolzano where we met “Ötzi,” the 5,300-year-old Iceman before returning to the Alps for another relaxing evening.
A highlight for many our visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, the real-life inspiration for Disney’s fairytale castle. Absolutely magical!
A day to explore more of Innsbruck or visit charming Mittenwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, followed by a farewell dinner celebrating new friendships and lasting memories.
Those continuing on our extension visited Liechtenstein and Zurich, enjoying lakeside views, a city tour, and one last taste of European charm before flying home.
This trip had it all history, culture, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared with an incredible group of travelers.

La Dolce Vita – Treasures of Italy!

Last year, our travelers experienced The Amalfi Coast & Rome—and what a journey it was!
We enjoyed a relaxed five-night stay in Sorrento, soaking in the charm of this vibrant coastal town and taking in breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples. From the cliffside beauty of Ravello, Positano, and Amalfi, to a scenic drive along the legendary Amalfi Coast Road, every moment felt like stepping into a postcard.
Highlights included:
A Day trip to the Isle of Capri & the gorgeous Gardens of Augustus
Visiting a Bufala Cheese plant & sampling fresh mozzarella
Tasting Limoncello right where it’s made
Touring Ancient Pompeii and walking through history
Discovering Rome – The Eternal City: The Colosseum, Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and Michelangelo’s breathtaking masterpieces

Take us back to Croatia!
One of our all-time favorite trips was our journey through breathtaking Croatia — and it's no wonder why this gem has become one of Europe’s hottest destinations. With its Mediterranean cuisine, mild climate, rich cultural heritage, and cosmopolitan charm, Croatia truly is the best-kept secret of the Adriatic!
We made our home base in the stunning resort town of Opatija, once a retreat for Austro-Hungarian nobility. From there, we explored the Istrian Peninsula, visited the ancient Roman amphitheater in P**a, wandered the charming streets of Rovinj, and soaked up the magic of the "Golden Island" of Krk.
And the adventure didn’t stop there—some of us even took a side trip into Venice!
From the natural wonders of Plitvice Lakes National Park to the vibrant coastal cities of Split and Dubrovnik, we were captivated by Croatia’s beauty, history, and warm hospitality.
Whether it was walking Dubrovnik’s ancient city walls, shopping the open-air markets, or sharing a meal by the sea, this trip was nothing short of unforgettable.

Throwback to our unforgettable Chamber trip through Portugal and Spain!
Travelers flew round trip from San Francisco and spent 7 nights in first-class accommodations, enjoying 10 delicious meals—including local wine with dinner—and immersing themselves in rich culture and history.
Our guided sightseeing included Lisbon, Évora, Seville, Jerez, and Arcos de la Frontera, with memorable highlights like a live horse show, a visit to a bodega, and engaging cultural experiences like a Fado music session, a hands-on tile-making workshop, and a Flamenco presentation.
We traveled in comfort aboard a deluxe motorcoach and were guided by a professional Tour Director every step of the way.
Some travelers even extended their adventure with a 2-night stay in Madrid, featuring a guided tour and visit to the Royal Palace!
This journey was the perfect blend of culture, cuisine, and camaraderie—an experience to remember!

Another great throwback to our unforgettable 2021 adventure through Greece with the Lodi Chamber Travel Group!
This incredible journey included round-trip air from San Francisco and 7 nights of first-class accommodations. We enjoyed 20 delicious meals—breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with wine included—and relaxed each evening with local cocktails and beverages at the hotel bar.
Our group explored the ancient wonders of Athens, stood atop the Acropolis, and toured the Acropolis Museum. A full-day excursion took us through the Peloponnese Peninsula to historic sites like Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplion. Optional tours gave travelers even more opportunities to experience the magic of Greece.
Our Cultural Discovery Series made the trip even more special, with unique experiences like olive oil tasting at a local farm, sampling traditional Ouzo, and a fascinating presentation by a local guest speaker. With the help of a professional Tour Director and deluxe motorcoach travel, the entire trip ran smoothly.
Some travelers extended their stay with a 2-night Santorini extension, featuring scenic views, first-class accommodations, and a guided island tour with wine tasting.

Tuscany Treasures – A Look Back at Our 2019 Adventure!
In 2019, the Lodi Chamber Travel Group embarked on a truly unforgettable journey through the stunning region of Tuscany. We took off from San Francisco and spent seven nights in first-class accommodations, indulging in superb cuisine with daily breakfasts and three delicious dinners.
Our time in Italy was filled with rich culture, breathtaking sights, and unforgettable experiences. We explored the Renaissance beauty of Florence with a full-day guided tour, wandered the charming streets of Pisa and Lucca where we saw the iconic Leaning Tower, and tasted our way through the Chianti wine region. In Siena and San Gimignano, we stepped back in time to soak up the medieval atmosphere and enjoyed a traditional countryside dinner that perfectly captured the flavors of Tuscany.
With the help of our professional Tour Director SERGIO and private deluxe motorcoach, the journey was smooth, educational, and full of connection—from artisan visits in Florence’s Oltrarno district to wine tastings that brought the region to life.
Some travelers added an optional two-night extension to Rome, discovering the city’s ancient wonders and diving deeper into Italian history and culture.
This was more than just a vacation—it was a cultural experience that created lifelong memories. Thank you to all who joined us. We can’t wait for our next adventure together!
