Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a reminder of the courage, strength, and selflessness of those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

To the heroes we’ve lost, and the families who continue to carry their memory forward… we thank you.

Heleena tells a story instead.

One of our favorite parts of hosting has become reading the handwritten notes guests leave behind — little moments, memories, and reminders that slowing down still matters.

This note from three sisters absolutely melted our hearts.

From hiking the Hocking Hills trails… to journaling, laughing, reading, dancing in the kitchen, and simply spending quality time together — this is exactly what Heleena was meant for.

Built in 1958, Heleena was never meant to be perfect.
She was meant to feel warm, lived in, nostalgic, and comforting.
