Looking for a last-minute fall getaway to Hocking Hills? We have a cabin available this weekend!
The leaves are starting to show some fall color, and tomorrow's weather is looking fantastic! It's the perfect time to get out and enjoy some fall paddling on the Hocking River, hit the hiking trails, or just relax around a campfire.

We’re finally back on the river starting TODAY!
And it looks like Mother Nature is finally going to cooperate with us for a bit. The next few days are looking fantastic for some fall paddling!
Water levels are still running higher than normal, so we do have a few restrictions in place for now, but don’t let that stop you from getting out and enjoying these beautiful fall days.
Fall is a great time to paddle the river. Come enjoy it with us!

Well… here we are again. Unfortunately, all of the rain and rising water means we have to close once again due to high water.
At this point, we are planning to reopen on Thursday, September 24, as long as river conditions allow.
It sure has been a rough season when it comes to rain and high water. We’re beyond ready for normal river levels and some beautiful fall days on the river!
As always, the safety of our guests and staff comes first. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we roll with whatever Mother Nature decides to throw our way.

Every livery needs a tractor wizard!
After high water, the river leaves behind plenty of mud at our put-ins and take-out but Aaron works tirelessly to get them cleaned up and as mud-free as possible for our guests. It’s one of those behind-the-scenes jobs that most people never see, but it makes such a big difference.
We’re big believers in using real photos of real people, real river and real adventures in our posts and on our website. But every once in a while, it’s fun to play a little. Someone had a little fun enhancing this actual photo of Aaron at work, and we have to admit… Tractor Wizard Aaron is pretty darn accurate! Maybe the magic wand is the only part that’s made up. 😉

Today is shaping up to be an AMAZING day on the river!

The sun is shining, the water levels are fantastic, and conditions are so good that we’re extending our last Tube and 7-Mile Trip shuttle times today!

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect day to get out on the river…this just might be it!

For this time of year, the river is looking fantastic for tubing, with plenty of water to keep you floating, relaxing and enjoying one of the best ways to soak up the last days of summer!

Good news! We’re getting back on the river today!
We’ll be opening one hour later than normal this morning (10:30 am) to give our crew some extra time to get our put-ins and landing cleaned up and as mud-free as possible after the high water.

For now, we’ll be running:
Rafts - a great option for families and less-experienced paddlers
Single kayaks - for experienced paddlers ages 16+
We’ll continue watching river conditions and adjust our options as levels come down.
