What brings visitors to Cass County, Indiana?

This weekend, we’re welcoming people for a softball tournament, a 75th birthday celebration for members of the Logansport High School Class of 1969, the Cass County Roosters Car Show and more.

Throughout the year, people come to Cass County for all kinds of reasons, from sporting events and school activities, to family gatherings, business and work-related travel. Others come to camp, spend time outdoors, and simply get away for a few days.

Our local venues host performers from around the area, the state, the region, the nation and even the world, and sometimes those performers bring audiences along with them.

Some visitors are discovering Cass County for the first time. Others are returning home to a place they’ve known for decades.

Whatever brings you here, we hope you’ll spend a little time exploring. In addition to Logansport, Cass County is home to the towns of Galveston, Onward, Royal Center and Walton, along with numerous unincorporated communities.

And there’s a lot happening this weekend!

Spend Saturday morning shopping the Farmers Market. Visit a museum dedicated to the classic 1960s Batman television series. Grab the brass ring on our historic Dentzel Carousel. Play a round of golf or disc golf. Head to Indiana’s fastest micro-sprint track for a night of racing.

And when you’re hungry, there’s still time for seasonal favorites like Spanish cheese dogs and ice cream. If this is a return visit to Cass County, donuts and pizza may already be on your list, but there are plenty of new options to discover as well!

Our beautiful pink petunias are still in full bloom, and several downtown businesses are hosting special events this weekend. Browse the shops, pick up a drink from a participating DORA establishment and take a stroll.

There’s plenty of live music to choose from at venues around Cass County. You can even make a night of visiting a few different stops.

And you don’t have to be a visitor to enjoy what Cass County has to offer. Whether you’ve traveled across the country or across the county, we hope you’ll find time to experience a little more of our communities while you’re here.

Welcome to Cass County. We're glad you're here!

The "Where to Eat" section of our website has been updated! Check it out at https://visit-casscounty.com/food-drink/ and feel free to message us here on Facebook with any updates.

The software we're using for place listings currently only allows us to input places with permanent physical locations, but we're looking at ways to add food trucks and other mobile vendors.

The new format allows you to see all the places that are listed, or view by local/independent, national/regional or seasonal. You can also use the search bar on the listings to view places by community.

Other categories are being updated as well. It's a time-consuming project, so please be patient and stay tuned as we work to help showcase the venues in Cass County, Indiana!
