Dear Fellow Wonderers,
I am writing to apologize for the way we have some of you on hold waiting on trip quotes, copies of confirmations and other activities on your bookings currently. This is not an attempt at excuses it is solely to inform and offer an explanation as all of our clients know we strive so very hard to not have any delays.
On Friday night one week ago Mark and I decided to take a break and head out to dinner. We did do that and it was Fabulous. We went to the movies, and then Saturday was the day for us to tie up all lose ends, send out trip quotes, pricing, emails and process payments and get travel documents out in the mail for the next few days so we could take a week off to paint our living room file away last years files and have a few days off to craft and play with the grandbabies before the crazy starts and to mentally have a rest before spring break travels, graduation parties, mothers day travels and all the other fun and fabulous family moments we play a role in starts. Well Saturday I woke up feeling simply weighted down. I had zero energy and had pain in my stomach and back that would bring Goliath to his knees. I laid in bed most of the day and slept, Sunday same thing, Monday same times 4 times worse. The Nausea, a head ache that would not quit, and just a heavy feeling over my entire body. Finally at 4AMish on Tuesday I had Mark bring me to the ER. It is now Friday again and I am still here in the hospital. I have acute pancreatitis and am still in lots of pain and tired does not begin to cover it and what weighs on me most is that some of you are still wanting a quote or an update or an email. I am finally able to hold my head up today and please know that we are gathering, researching, scheduling and all the things we promised you would have and will be getting them to you as soon as humanly possible. I appreciate your Patience and understanding but it was my New Years goal to over deliver on my promises and I was just not able to do that this week. So please know I am deeply sorry but Mark will be reaching out if he hasn't already to get all the info everyone is waiting on. We appreciate those of you that have stopped by and prayed with us and made us feel loved and missed! I am hoping and praying to get to go home tomorrow and have everything caught up by Monday or Tuesday so we can take the mini vacay we were planning for this week but I am sorry and wanted to let you know.
