Rattlesnake at Bolsa Chica Wetlands!

The Tours X Team visited the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and spotted a rattle snake! Yes rattlesnakes in Bolsa Chica!

This poor guy got caught in the erosion netting just off the path.

Huge shout out to Animal Control who helped our snake friend free! And yes folks Leave It To The Professionals! DO NOT attempt this on your own! Animal Control relocated our friend away from the walking path to help keep everyone safe.

Rattlesnake are venomous and bite when they feel threatened or cornered. Rattle snake bites occur most frequently between April and October (peak season: late spring to early summer) during warm, sunny weather, particularly at dawn, dusk, and night.

Now keep your eyes peeled and get outside and explore nature!

Late post but we had to share a summer recap!
Thank you for joining us this summer! From sea lions to dolphins, massive sea bass and makrel at the Breakwall, making friends with the crabs at the dock, watching the Falcon 9 come into the Port, seeing the hustle of all the tug boats and barges, and of course... meeting ALL OF YOU!!!!
