Fall color is starting to make its move! 🍂

We’re still in the early stages, but those first pops of red and yellow are showing up across the Pocono Mountains. And with cooler weather ahead, the color show is about to get even better! 👀

🌲 Northern Poconos: ~5% color | Peak expected Oct. 8–14

Red Maples are showing off, Birch Trees are turning yellow, and Sugar Maples are just beginning to hint at their fall colors. 🍁✨

Whew, what a day—and what a summer!

We left the house this morning at 8:30 AM to hit both of our Pocono properties, and just walked back through the door at 11:30 PM. To say this summer has been full of long days getting our vacation rentals up and running is an understatement. We’ve definitely had way more of these grueling workdays than actual relaxing pool days this year!

Is it worth it? Absolutely. Yes! Especially when the guests checking out today left us this incredible review! Thank you to all of our amazing guests who make the hustle so rewarding. We can't wait to welcome more of you to our Pocono getaways! 🌲

A day in the life of an STR owner. Hot tub delivered yesterday. Today, we are trying to get the sauna assembled before the rain hits.

We just had our first guests staying at TNT Emerald Hideaway. They liked it so much, they added another night to their stay. We still have some work to do outside, Tony is actually putting a shed together in the dark as I am creating this post. I thought now would be a good time to do another before and after. This is the dining area and living room on the main floor. I am loving all of the natural lighting and feeing like we are living in the trees on this level of the house.
