“Does the Cuba travel ban impact my upcoming tour?”

No. The travel ban has no impact on U.S. citizens, rather it limits the ability of some Cubans traveling into the U.S.

You can rest assured that for 10 years, Vive Más Tours has always followed the laws of both the U.S. and Cuba. As a U.S.-based company, this is a strong value.

A favorite organic farm-to-table dinner we enjoy on our birdwatching tour of Cuba is at El Paraíso in Viñales.
They are known for their “Anti-Stress Cocktail”, here are the ingredients in English. Use fresh ingredients and mix them in a blender with ice for a refreshing treat!
-pineapple juice
-anise leaf
-mint leaf
-spearmint leaf
-basil leaf
-lemon grass
-coconut milk
-honey
-cinnamon
-optional rum (“Vitamin R”, as it’s called)

This week, there are 13 people with the Hershey History Center exploring Cuba on our tour.
The spent Friday in the quiet town of Hershey, Cuba learning about the legacy of Mr. Hershey, his vision for the place, and the legacy left behind in what was once a bustling sugar mill town.

Next year, this tour will happen April 17-26, 2026, and registration is open now!

You’ve got to come explore and the incredible artwork that transformed this section of the city…and its escalators making it accessible.
What was once one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the world is now a top tourist destination.

We were lucky, it started raining when we were leaving, so I got a rare video of one the vibrant murals without people walking in my video!

After yesterday’s visit to the living coffee museum and farm, we have a deeper appreciation for the amount of work it takes to get our morning joe. ☕️
