Did you know Longmont’s beloved Rose Garden has been blooming for generations?

Tucked into Roosevelt Park, this colorful corner of town first took root in the 1940s as a memorial garden and community gathering place. Over the decades, the garden has evolved, alongside Longmont itself- changing shape and even relocating within the park more than once before becoming the peaceful spot visitors enjoy today.

Now, generations later, it’s still one of Longmont’s prettiest places to slow down and admire hundreds of blooms in the heart of our city. Bring a coffee, bring a book, or bring friends who appreciates stopping to smell the roses.

One of Longmont’s most underrated amenities? Casually having mountain views while just on your way to coffee, lunch, or well... whenever.

Which generation took each picture of Longs Peak? We’ll let you guess. Winner gets bragging rights and a sudden urge to complain about “kids these days”.
