It's official: about 6" of ice on Palmer Lake. We've received a number of requests about whether there are people , and yes now there are a number of tents on the lake. Also, look at how great it is for ice skating (at least for now!). No crusty snow on top, just smooth like glass.

The lodge is available now too if anyone wants to take advantage of conditions.

Getaway idea - the 2024 Spring Okanagan Wine Festival runs June 2-23. The lodge has availability June 3-19. Touring the wineries along the Golden Mile is a lot of fun.

Hi, we just had a cancellation for July 9-16, 2024 if anyone would like to book a trip to the lake. That week is probably the most sought after of the whole year because of weather, lake conditions and of course kids out of school.

The annual job of taking the dock out for the winter got done this weekend. It seemed a shame to close out the summer! It was a gorgeous 83 deg day, and the lake right now has crystal clear water that is still warm. If you are thinking about a trip next year, think about mid-late September. It is a beautiful time of year at Palmer lake!
