Someone asked me and now I cant find the question or the person. Sorry for that You can give me a kick where ever you want for me missing that . Sorry but will post and answer the question. They asked what does a River Cruise have ? . Well let me start and say
River cruises are more intimate and you immerse your self in a peaceful trip. River cruises are alittle more expensive to start but they are all inclusive and you are not nickle and dime along the way . Or get a surprise bill at the end . And you see scenery the whole trip and not vast Ocean. More excursions that are part of the cruise and not extra add on s . Peaceful calm inlet water so no sea sick issues and you dont feel the boat rocking or moving. There are 4 dinning rooms and spa s fitness areas rooms with balconies, 355 to 700 sq ft rooms. pools and sun decks move theater. Only difference from a River Cruise to a Ocean cruise .
Ocean : you have casino s water slides ect more for young kids and adults who like to gamble. And extra bills for drinks and such that are not included and no wifi

River: you have wifi free drinks inclusive no extra fee for excursion or hard liquor its included. No high bill at end of trip , calm waters, no sea sickness . But no casino s or water slides . But there are pools and whirlpool bath s . River cruising you see more at a calmer pace and you dock at the center of town. NO shuttles or water taxi needed.

So if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation and no extra cost and more excursion options at no extra cost and only 200 passengers = River Cruise

If you have 2or 3 young kids and want amusement park atmosphere or want to gamble and be with thousands of others and a end of cruise bill = Ocean cruise

Also on weekend low cost cruises . the possibility of a fist fight is not uncommon. But Penalties are severe and the ship does have a cell on board to handle rowdy out of control passengers with fines and possible jail time when cruise is over.

Look you book a cruise : what comes with it : food casinos, 4,000 others with you . You pay alot you want peace and quiet , now the new item is people get kranky and arguments and fights break out. Usually on the very inexpensive ones .
How does relaxation calm waters only 150 people everyone is calm no stress . Its your vacation you dont need stress.

A river cruise is your answer a river cruise takes you through the country a ocean cruise takes you to the country. relax still have entertainment , pools, spa, great food and drinks , and alot of quiet relaxation time !!! that you have been craving.

You can play golf , go bike go hike, go on a wine tour all of this at your leisure ! Do it !! and they are booking now for 2028.. you put a small deposit down and that is it. Take some friends or family with you .... you book 5 cabins alot of times that last cabin is FREE ! And you get a discount for all on top of it . How about the Christmas Markets in Europe . A thing of beauty don't miss it !!
